Oh hello there,
I'm back in Philly and back at our plane spotter's nook that the Mr. and I have had so many fond memories at over the years. At the railroad and the water side laying right below the spot that the planes fly lowly overhead before they make their landing is quite peaceful and soothing as we sip our coffees and walk hand in hand. There are just some places that I will always love, no matter what the weather.
So with that, I wish you one loverly Tuesday darlings! I'm still in need of some recuperating from the weekend - between hosting dinner parties and leading drama practices (I coach two high school teams), I am quite pooped and rather snowed in. Methinks the hot cocoa is calling out to me right now :-)
Love Bunches,
I love to ride the train and I love your outfit :) It seems not very easy to travel by train here in the US!? I tried to figure out if I could go by train to NYC for spring break but it seems much cheaper and easier just to rent a car- and a roadtrip will be fun too I believe :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful and I love your tights and the sweater and everything :)
xx
This is so absolutely stunning - I love your outfit and that this place means so much to you!

SO lovely. I love how you mix colors and prints. That is my weakness! I tend to stick with neutrals too much so its nice to get some inspiration:)
ReplyDeleteThere really is no one quite like you Marisa-you bring such beauty to everything! What a great shot of the plane coming in. This outfit is so fun and colorful-I am in LOVE with your sweater and it's darling design around the collar! Are they strawberries, are they hearts? Doesn't matter they're awesome. Also, I'm a bit jealous that you coach drama teams. That would be so fun, I always thought I would have so much fun doing that!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a pretty lovely place!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great spot! I have such a soft spot for train tracks and would love to one day have photos taken on some. But we dare not step on the tracks of the commuter trains that rush through the southern part of the city. I love your outfit, particularly the sweet sweater!
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous photos, and I love the colours in this outfit. Beautifully styled as always dear! xx/Madison
ReplyDeleteWhy you always have so gorgeous photos!!?♥ LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Loving the little strawberries on your sweater. So cute!
ReplyDeleteOn a side note: I just switched my comments to Disqus because I want there to be more of a conversation rather then just people leaving comments. Disqus seems right for that. And thoughts on the switch would be highly appreciated :)
Love this outfit, and these pictures! I think the colours in this outfit are one of the best colour combinations ever - so cheery but still, calm and settling? In a way? I don't know, but I like it!

Awe, I love photos shoots in railroads, so romantic! The ones I've seen over here are nothing like this one. And I just love how you match colors! I'm sorry I say it too often, haha, but I'm just clueless when it comes to pairing colors and textures.
ReplyDeleteAlso, how cool that you teach drama!!! :D What kind of plays are you working on right now?
Hope you have a wonderful week, sweet Marisa! And thank you so much for dropping by today! :D
Tight hugs!
THe outfit looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I love Philly! In fact, I did a small post on it yesterday!:)

you always have the cutest necklines! love the collars on both tops!
ReplyDeletethis, frankly, looks like the most relaxing place in the world. is it weird that I'm terrified of flying but find watching planes take off very therapeutic? really weird? oh well. love your knee socks too, by the way!
ReplyDeleteI like all the layers in the outfit! Cute.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever gone on an Amtrak trip? I think it'd be interesting!
Marisa this post is amazing! The plane photos are gorgeous and the lighting is beautiful. And your vintage sweater and blouse combo, I am in love! It's funny because when I wear primary colors together I often think of a Swedish vibe for some reason. I am pretty sure if you stood us next to eachother in this outfit and my Monday outfit, we would be the Swiss Miss Sisters together :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week!
