Oh hello there darlings,
I'm still hanging in there getting closer and closer to my due date. The very latest is that I'm 3cm dilated, 80% effaced, and the baby's head is down...all very good news to my ears. As for now, the weather has cooled down and it feels quite refreshing actually as carrying around a little bundle in your belly is like carrying around your own portable heater - so I'm welcoming the cool breeze and even the chance to don some boots and tights any of these days.
In other randomness...lakeside walks are lovely and so is watching all the locals who fish here in the park. Kind of makes me want to join along in the fun. And I'm telling you still, vintage tent dresses and babydolls have saved the day and kept me from burning a hole in my wallet. I would highly recommend going this route if you are pregnant as opposed to dropping your dollars on maternity wear.
There you have it. I'm finished with my rambling...it's Friday and all I want to do is lay by the lake, plant some more veggies in my garden, and perhaps concoct some kind of frozen treat...like chocolate covered coconut frozen bananas. Wish me luck my friends!
Love Bunches,
Glad that you're doing okay, gorgeous and wow, any moment now will be nothing but full excitement with the little one on their way out. I love the dash of blue-green in the headband with your outfit. Always such beautiful photos dear. Enjoy your w/e. and thanks for your sweet comments. xx/Madison

Yay! All that news is super awesome. Baby is doing well and so are you. It honestly doesn't even look like summer in these pictures.. more like fall. It looks awesome right next to the lake. I would totally join in and do a little fishing. It's so relaxing :)
ReplyDeleteYou look sooooo beautiful... glowing!

Your maternity style has been the very best I've ever seen. Throughout you have always dressed in such a fun and interesting way. You look terrific my friend. I bet you guys are so excited, as I am for you!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely an inspiration for maternity style, I love that you didn't get a bunch of maternity pieces and instead used pieces you already own/could wear again afterwards. And you always look so lovely and stylish. Love this dress on you, the neckline is darling.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear everything with baby is coming along perfectly!!!

I definetly agree that it is much better to spend time walking at the lake, instead of going shopping. Maternity wear is for sure fun too, but those cute vintage dresses that you have just look so perfect on your belly that I don't think any maternity wear could top that :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
xx
Your outfit is so unique, I love it!

You look so freaking adorable. Pregnancy is so cute on you and I swear, I can hardly tell there's a human about to come out of you! I can't wait to see how cute he is and I'm sure he's gonna have a cool name. Plus Keane and him will be so adorable. Ahhh! CAn't wait for all the cuteness about to happen in your life.
ReplyDeleteAwe, you're meeting your baby boy really soon! :D How exciting! Hope you're feeling great and everything goes perfect! May the weather remain being not too hot, then ;).

I think that scarf is probably the best one I've seen yet-black and mint, polka dots, AND floral? It has everything that's perfect in one little item!
ReplyDeleteWow that is a blessing that you are dialated already!!! I didn't until right before they came out of me. . .so I think that is so cool that you are also effaced too (which also only happened 10 minutes before each of my boys came out). I can't wait to "meet" your new son!!
