And then there were 3 weeks to go... til my official due date that is. This week I really made a dent in preparing for baby boy's arrival...you know, all the fun stuff like washing his clothes, painting the nursery, giving his chest of drawers a facelift, and packing my hospital bag. Yep, it's getting real.
It's funny, during this time around with my last pregnancy I was swollen so bad that I could only wear crocs (don't judge) and had already thrown in the towel with wearing my wedding ring on my poor ring finger which turned into what looked like a sausage..hehe. I'm happy to report that not eating for two...but rather just eating as I need and more healthy I might add has made all the difference in the world...a 40 pound difference! Wanna see? Check out this photo of me in the same dress 3.5 years ago exactly three weeks before my due date with Keane:
Everything from my nose to my toes ballooned up...eek. It was not a comfortable thing my friends. Still, isn't it always a fun thing to go back and look through old photos? I always get a kick out of seeing how things have changed.
So that's about all for now. Have one loverly Tuesday darlings!
Love Bunches,

Ah, so close! And wow, eating better really does make a difference. You look wonderful! And this dress is adorable, especially with those boots. I actually used to have this same exact vest, but gave it away after it sat in my closet for so long. I'm wishing I hadn't now because it looks so cute on you!

Yay! How exciting baby will be here before you know it. It always takes one pregnancy to plan for the next. I did the same for my first.. totally ate for two and not just one. I can't believe you're still in heels. I wanted nothing to do with shoes at all. I mean I never do but at this point even less.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteI think of your stomach to be it very sweetly!
I look forward to your baby having been given birth to.
