Hello Hello there darlings,

Well my weekend was chock full of lazy lakeside afternoons with friends, a town fair, family visiting from Philly, and baking cornbread for my church's chili cook off on Sunday afternoon.  Life is surely good, right?  Anyhow, I can't help but love this time of year - when things are slightly slow before autumn comes on at us in full force.  The thing is there really is not much to say except for just that.  I'm savoring every summer moment with my boys and the Mr. and I've certainly appreciated all the evenings where we sit out on our back deck drinking coffee while Keane plays with his cars and Clayt is just being his sweet little self cuddling and cooing on my lap...more baby photos to come :-)  I'm telling you, it's the simple things that make me so very happy these days.

How about you?  What's making you smile at the moment?  Please do share.

Love bunches,

Psst: If you haven't seen already - I'm so excited to be the featured Style Gallery Star on the Modcloth blog this week...take a little mosey this way to read more.

Sunset Lake

Outfit Details: Dress (sale) & tights: Modcloth // Scarf: Vintage // Brooch: Antique Mall // Shoes (old) : Dolce Vita

Hello darlings,

How have you been?  It really feels like September is as busy ever and has kind of swept in like a whirlwind.  My favorite thing this month so far has been the little quiet moments the fam and I have been able to grab down by the lake where we live before the weather really turns cold.  Twirling around and watching the sun go down is a very nice contrast to the hustle and bustle that at times fills the every day.  We actually came down here to eat dinner (my neighborhood has it's own little restaurant that sits on the lake) and it was kind of the best place to unwind.  I feel pretty blah and behind in everything right now - so these next couple days will be devoted to catching up.  Catching up with emails, catching up with my Etsy shop, catching up with mundane tasks, and catching up with you!

That's about all for now.  It's rainy and windy as all get out - up to 60 mph gusts (yeah, that actually really scares me) so I am content to cozy  up inside with my cup of tea and a pile of laundry.  Hey, I never said my life is glamorous - ha!

Talk soon darlings!

Cherry Keane Sunsets

Outfit Details: Top: Modcloth (sale) // Hat: UO // Brooch: Antique Mall // Skirt & Shoes: Thrifted // Bag: c/o Cute Vintage

Happy happy weekend darlings!

Hope your Saturday is a swell one.  Today is pretty low key for me and the fam and little house projects like painting our front door are in order.  Sounds excited, right?  (Note my sarcasm...ha!)  Anyhow, my favorite kinds of evenings are ones like this where we grab some coffees (it's pumpkin spice latte time!) and find a peaceful little deserted spot on the river where we can watch the sunset and yes play with trains...any Thomas the Tank Engine fans out there? :)

So that is all - the front door beckons so off I am to prime and paint.  Wish me well!  Any exciting plans on your horizon?

Love Bunches,
