Outfit Details: Dress: Vintage (last seen here)// Sweater: Thrifted // Bow: Modcloth // Brooch: Antique Mall // TIghts: Modcloth // Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
Hello there darlings,
I'm back with another thread share post and today Amanda, from Salvaged Strawberry, and I are remixing my vintage plaid dress. I was feeling all 50s and doo wop pairing it with my red cardi and big bow and as I walked I could nearly hear "Blue Moon" or "At the Hop" playing in the background (or in my head at least). How's that for a blast from the past? Now hand me a strawberry milkshake, grab me some skates, and let's call it a day.
Amanda took a completely different route with styling the piece and I can't help but just love how she layered it up and pulled from the more neutral tones. Shimmy over THIS WAY to read more on her blog.
Have a loverly Thursday darlings!
Love Bunches,
Love Bunches,
I love the entire outfit! That dress is so cute! Great blog :)
ReplyDeleteI just came here from Salvaged Strawberry, and loving how you both styled this dress, it's so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHaha skates on that outfit would be amazing! I love how you just 50-ed this out, especially with the bow and mustard tights. And I really like what Amanda did with the layering- you two went completely different routes. Yours is super colorful and hers is neutral and toned down. It's amazing how different that dress can look!
ReplyDeleteI always love it when you guys swap clothes. This look really great on you! Fabulous bow!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear some of your goals for 2013 when you know them :) xx
