These Are a Few of My Favorite Things: Mange Too Massage Bar

Where can I begin with this one? The Mange Too Massage Bar from Lushusa.com is beyond amazing - it's delectable and to die for. It's scent of white chocolate, honey, and peppermint is mouthwatering and it will tempt you to take a bite out of it. Perfect for achy tired muscles, just rub all over and massage the stress away. The creamy consistency is relaxing and the smell is just out of this world. It is also a plus that it is made of natural ingredients such as cocoa butter, mango butter, bananas, chocolate, etc., so it is good for your skin. Recommended for anyone who loves giving or receiving massages.

Your Love Is Better Than Icecream

TGIF, the weekend is here and I'm loving this warm sunshine weather. What goes best with warm weather? Ice cream, or course! I love ice cream. Stricken with a sweet tooth, I think I would get by eating five bowls a day of this sweet creamy goodness if I didn't care about my health or my waistline. Mint chocolate chip, black rasberry, and chocolate brownie chunk are amongst my favs, so to celebrate my love for this treat, I don my Miss L Fire Necessary Indulgence Wedges with great pride. To complete the outfit, I paired these shoes with a pink frock for one sweet and delicious look. Yummo!

Dress: Topshop

Shoes: Modcloth

Lacy Tights: Urban Outfitters

Head Scarf: Vintage

More about ice cream: To get my ice cream fix without all the calories, I love 100% Pure's line of Mint Chocolate Ice Cream bath and body products. They smell just like the real deal and are free of harsh sulfates and other detergents.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things: Tea Tree Oil

I'm sure you have all heard of it by now, but tea tree oil is one of those products that has an endless possibility of uses. I am truly in love with it and do not go a day without using it. It produces amazing results when used on skin, face, and hair. Best yet, it is a natural product and free of all that synthetic junk found in other beauty products that can be harmful to your body and the environment over time.

On my face, I use it as a daily moisturizer after using toner and before applying my makeup. I have combination skin which can be very frustrating, as half way through the day it is either really oily or really dry. TTO really balances out my skin. It keeps it moisturized throughout the day without getting oily. It also brightens the complexion. At night, I use it as a spot treatment if I get any annoying breakouts. Honestly, since using TTO, my breakouts have been very minimal and my skin has been much smoother and even looking. TTO is also great for fading acne scars.

On my hair, I use it as a nighttime treatment to revitalize hair and help maintain a healthy scalp. I wash it out in the morning. My hair is very fine and fragile. Since using TTO on my hair, it has been much stronger and healthy looking.

For skin, put a few drops in your bath water and your skin will be soft and supple. It is also awesome to use on dry cuticles.

These are only the beginning of it's uses though. To learn more about benefits and uses of tea tree oil, click through the link I have provided below.

My favorite brand of TTO is Wen. Wen TTO also has jojoba oil in it, which makes it even more moisturizing. It has a dropper in the lid which makes for easy application and at only $20 for a 4 oz. bottle (which is larger than most bottles you will find), it is a great deal. You can find Wen TTO at QVC.com

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things: Coconut Oil

I'm kind of a nut for natural/organic products. Probably about 85% of the beauty products I use are just that. Natural and/or organic products are good for the body and the environment. One of my favorite things to use is Coconut Oil. Yes, the same coconut oil that you can cook with. Coconut oil has numerous uses and a plethora of benefits, but in particular, I like to use it on my skin and hair. It's an interesting oil because it comes in solid form, so it must be warmed up prior to application.

On my face: I use a small amount at night as a moisturizer. It clears blemishes, reduces acne scars, and gives you a healthy glow without being greasy. On my body: Upon getting out of the shower, I slather all over. Your skin will never be dry. I find that it's great for preventing stretch marks during pregnancy. On my hair: I use it on the nights before I was my hair. I rub my hands together and massage into my scalp. I take the excess and put it on my ends. Your hair will be shiny and healthy. It's the best conditioner out there and it's great for all hair types.

Another great benefit of coconut oil is that it is easy on the wallet. You'll find that you will save lots of money on lotions, conditioning treatments, and moisturizers once you start using it.

I like Nutiva brand. You can purchase it at Vitacost.com -
