Hat, Blouse, Brooch, Skirt: Vintage, thrifted
Bag: Vintage, belonged to my Oma
Shoes: Modcloth (sale)

It's Monday and I've had one weekend chock full of gal palling around downtown, grabbing some yummy Indian food that I've had quite the hankering for lately, thrifting to my lil ol heart's content, and hockey-gaming the night away.  Now it's time for a little r&r!

Though the closest downtown to where I live really isn't much of a city at all, it does boast some of the prettiest old buildings that are sadly falling apart or in the process of being knocked down.  I couldn't help but be smitten with this old Engel Building across the street from where we ate the other day.  Half of it was an old dress shop and the other half was completely demolished in the back.  Apparently the city is preserving the facade of this old gem.  Anyhoo, I'm just a tad obsessed with old forgotten places if you couldn't tell already, ha!  I would just adore seeing places like this completely restored back to their old beauty.

So with that, I'm off to grab a second cup of joe.  I wish you a happy week ahead darlings!
Love Bunches,

  1. Your downtown looks so cute and like it has a lot of history. It reminds me of some of the small towns where I grew up in Oregon- but maybe that's because of the wet ground in these pics :) As always these are really pretty photos and it sounds like a perfect weekend!

  2. Old forgotten places (and thing in general... cough vintage!) are the best! I love your cheerful daisy sweater on a rainy day, that sounds like the perfect weekend! I am posting over on FT wearing your darling floral dress and will be mailing it back this week, thank you! :)

  4. This looks like a cool/funky place. (though, I did have to read the sign with the word Wyoming in it twice, lol).

Both you and your friend look quite lovely too :)

  6. I love that sweater and the colors in this outfit! I too love old buildings that are forgotten. I think sometimes people overlook them and don't take the time to actually explore them and see how awesome they are. I always wonder what kind of history and stories they hold!
