Mulled Cider

Outfit Details: Dress: Vintage (in shop) // Sweater: Thrifted // Floral Crown: DIY // Brooch: Antique Mall // Bag: Vintage (in shop) // Socks: UO // Shoes: Clarks - girt from hubby

Why hello there darlings!

I'm back from my busy little weekend and I can now safely say that our Saturday night town tree-lighting shindig went off like a hit.  Our band brought down the house with Christmas tune after Christmas tune and what a festive little evening it turned out to be.  Laced with Christmas cookies, Santa Claus coming in on a firetruck (gotta love it), and of course the community Christmas tree being all lit up in it's glory, how could I not be immersed in and completely soak up all this holiday spirit?  Unfortunately we weren't able to record any of our tunes but you might just see some photos in the near future and we will be playing again on the night before Christmas Eve, so stay tuned :)

Anyhow, a warm front came through our town this week, so bare legs it is for now.  Though it's warm and toasty out, I'm kind of in the mood for mulled cider.  Anyone else out there with me?  Once the holidays arrive I really do crave cinnamon spiced everything.

Love Bunches,

  6. That sounds amazing! I am not quite in the Christmas spirit yet - I need more trees and lights and holiday tunes in my life! I wish I could have gone to that - it sounds amazing! I love your jumper, M! I think my new favorite wardrobe staple is the jumper. Just so easy! I hope you have a fabulous Tuesday, my dear!

  8. I'm right there with you! But it's wierd to drink it when it's this warm! Me and my boyfriend went to a Christmas market yesterday and left after like two minutes because it was strange ordering hot chocolate when we were sweating haha. I need me my brisk air! And I'm glad to hear your concert went so well (never doubted it). And what a pretty dress- i love that color on you.

I love how you layered a cardigan under a dress, I've never thought to do that but it looks oh so pretty! I especially love the colors you mixed here too- navy and burgundy? Gorgeous. Sounds like a lot of fun Christmas-time cheer, Love it.

  17. How cute and fun that you got to play some Christmas tunes! I really need to start getting in the spirit of the holidays. I LOVE your little jumper, I just got a little vintage black one and can't decide if I am going to put it in the shop or not. And thats so awesome you've been cutting out sweet and caffeine! I have been running on empty so I can't do no-caffeine right now, but I am going to try to cut out sugar and wheat mostly! We will see! Maybe we can help give each other motivational pep talks! :)
Hope you're having a warm & wonderful day!
