Before the Snow

As beautiful as the weather has been, it was finally time for winter to arrive.  This was just before the snow.  It's frigid outside now, the ground is covered in white and the cold windy air is making me a bit grumpy.  I am simply not made for the cold weather.  Anybody want to hop a plane to Florida with me?  I have even been trying to coax my son into putting on his snowsuit and going out to play and he always answers me, "Snow.  No!"  Haha, I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree.

I think a cup of homemade hot chocolate with big fluffy marshmallows is the only thing to beat my case of the Monday Winter blues.  Hey, I just gave myself a good idea!   I'm off now darlings to go warm up.

Stay warm!
Love bunches,

  2. What a darling handmade beret you are wearing! The little bow in the back is the most precious surprise, too! ❤

  3. Yesterday, there was ice on my porch and today was probably around 65. Crazy weather!

Love your beret! And the scenery is so pretty. Love the lamp posts and bridge.

  4. Oh my gosh I absolutely adoooorrrreee this outfit Marisa! You look stunning in that mint green. Ah! That's amazing that you captured the snow as it was about to fall. I love how you can see a little piece on your beret! And that is sooo cute about your son. I'm not very much into snow as well, since in Georgia it's mainly "mush" after a few hours (if it even sticks at all!) but I'm sure if I lived in a powdery paradise, my opinion on snow would change (because the days that it is light and fluffy i LOVE it.) ;)

  11. I can't stand the cold either. The only thing I love about winter is how gorgeous it looks! Frosty trees are my favorite :) Although we haven't had much of that here in SD yet!
I love that picture of the clouds. The colors are so beautiful-how fun that the green in the clouds mirrors your lovely green sweater!
Also I must tell you I envy your attention to detail in your outfits-so much fashion eye candy!

  15. Hello Marisa :). I have a question to your photographer. If it is not a secret, may I ask that how big ISO numbers you use for the retro-feeling pictures? Is it around ISO 800 or smaller?

    have a nice day:)

  38. I forgot to ask you Marisa, if you saw my article about TheBétaVersion on my blog. I am not a fashion blogger myself as you know it :), but I am interested in design and I really like their style. Already when I started to have the idea of writing the article I was thinking to ask your opinion about them.

I am curious if you like them or not, cause many times I think we have the same taste :).
