Le Petit Four

I felt like a petit four today.
Perhaps it was the candy colored combination of pink and mint I was wearing.
Perhaps I was just hungry, having a hankering for something sweet and lovely.
I love food way too much and I will never shake my vice for sugary confections.
So all and all petit fours were the inspiration for my outfit today.
After all, it always comes down to food, doesn't it?

RIH

As my dear hubby was snapping a picture of me, a lady in her minivan came barreling around the corner, out of nowhere, not paying any attention to us mere little pedestrians. I screamed, "CAR!" and we both made a mad dash for it. Grant it, this was not a busy area that we were taking pics at - we were in an empty school parking lot. As she zoomed by we were shot the hairy eyeball. Watch it minivan lady!!! What nerve! (I thought) Who would have thunk picture taking could be so dangerous? Hmm, taken out by a minivan...now that's a way to go. Anyways - this is the accidental photo from that very moment.

Have a safe and happy Monday!

Love,

  2. Sweet :) Those tights are just lovely. Pink & mint are perfect partners!

It is funny how useless drivers always seem angry at their almost victims. That said I am one choleric pedestrian.

  9. Candy and the spring time are my two most favorite things! And this ensemble makes me think of both at the same time!! So freaking pretty!

Gotta be honest, the yelling of "car" reminds me of the scene in Wayne's world where he and Garth are playing hockey in the street. Too bad you didn't yell "Game on" as soon as the van passed.... would've been epic :D
