A Bird of Many Colors

My skin is kind of sort of brownish pinkish yellowish white. My eyes are greyish blueish green, but I'm told they look orange in the night. My hair is reddish blondish brown, but it's silver when its wet, and all the colors I am inside have not been invented yet.

The wind was a'howlin today my friends. Though it's really annoying for taking photos, I didn't really care because it was so beautiful outside - like the perfect afternoon. This totally overshadowed the fact that I had the most horrid morning where everything that went wrong did. My hubby misplaced his wallet, I misplaced my purse, we were short on gas, and late to work but that all faded away as soon as I set foot outdoors and enjoyed the gorgeous weather in my most favorite park. So I'll leave it at that little darlings. I do hope your day was as lovely as mine. Here's hoping for many more afternoons like this.

Today I went on the hunt for some yummy Easter candy and rabbity shaped confections for my son's Easter basket. This is what I wore. Needless to say, I felt very candy-coated in my bright punch colored dress, which I thought was quite fitting for taking a stroll down the candy aisle. Yes, I'm just like a kid in a candy store. I have the worst sweet tooth and it took everything in me to walk past the Cadbury Eggs. I fear they might be the death of me someday.

So tell me, what's your favorite Easter candy?

Happy Easter darlings!!

The best part of my Monday was clearly playing in the park with my little chief, Keane. There's seriously no better way to end a long work day. He is just simply the sweetest. And the icing on the cake this evening...my parents took me out for ice cream. Mmm, all Mondays should conclude with a nice big dish of chocolate cake batter ice cream. Here's to being a kid again.

Wishing you darlings the most splendid week ahead full of lots of playtime and laughter.

Mid Afternoon

"Think what a better world it would be if we all, the whole word, had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down on our blankets for a nap."

And that's just the kind of afternoon I had...one where, unfortunately people were rude, demanding, and disrespectful. For me, this is most certainly not the place to gripe about the small things, but for some reason today I just let such things get to me. So here I am, getting it off my chest. Call me old fashion, but I believe in having manners, treating others with respect, and being plain ol' kind hearted. Not hard to say the least.

So perhaps what we all need is a solid dose of milk and cookies in the afternoon, followed by some sweet slumber. This could indeed make the world a much nicer and happier place.

As for me...my afternoon was saved by a romp in the park and some vitamin d. Voila, my mid afternoon blues have been cured.

Hope your day was loverly! Happy Friday (almost) darlings!! The weekend is just about amongst us.

It was the first sunny and warm day in a very long time here in central, PA. (Note my lack of posting). I was ever so excited and wished so badly that a. it was not Monday and b. I didn't have to be confined within the walls of a school building all day long. Seeing that there was no way of dodging this bullet, as soon as the clock hit 4 pm, my hubby and I sped to the nearest beaten path and took a stroll. Little did we know, we were walking along the edge of a golf course, where we soon ran into a jolly group of gents who lost their golf ball somewhere near the lakeside. (Before becoming aware of this I was prancing around like a silly school girl as the hubster snapped photo after photo of me.) "Hello, are we in your way?", I said nervously. (I can say the lamest things at times). "No, no you're fine", they replied looking at me strangely as they continued to walk all around us, very close, hunting for their ball.

Sure, I'm cool...not awkward to say the least. (yeah right).

So tell me, do you meet any interesting characters along the way of your picture taking adventures?

That's all for now. Night, night, darlings!

Love,
